Fall in the Villages

Hello and happy fall!

The Villages at Highlands Ranch neighborhood is looking crisp. The leaves are starting to turn colors and the mums are dotting porches along Laurenwood and Braewood.

Summer work is done and there was quite a lot accomplished. We painted the exterior fences, repaired concrete throughout the neighborhood and trimmed back trees and shrubs. Many of you painted your homes using the new approved color palette. I am anxious to see more of these new colors brighten and update the look of our homes.

We put the pool to rest for the summer amid some heated discussions about pool policies and security. The board of directors is looking into a better security system for next summer, and a revised list of rules and regulations will be developed. The goal is to make pool available for the enjoyment of ALL Villages residents and to reduce abuses of pool privileges. Look for more on the 2011 pool season after the holidays.

Lastly, watch for the Fall Newsletter in your mailbox soon. The newsletter will be posted here on the blog as well. If you would like to read it here and not receive the mailing, please call Western States and have them take you off of the mailing list.

Enjoy the season!

  3. It seems as if the last entry Lynn was back in 2010. Also notification signs of HOA meetings at the entrances are nice but the signs fail to announce the address of where they are held. But then maybe Board members would rather not have residents show up?

  4. The last entry was after our last meeting, September 2012. Again, the link is here, http://www.villagesathighlandsranch.com/3.html.

The minutes are posted on the website, not on the blog. If you are interested in volunteering to keep the blog up to date, please let me know.

As far as the signs, I guess I assume residents are familiar with Westridge Recreation center, the location for the meetings as stated on the signs. The address for you:

    The Recreation Center at Westridge
    9650 Foothills Canyon Blvd.
    Highlands Ranch, CO 80129
    Phone:303-791-2500
