Painting your Villages Home

Happy summer to you!

It always goes by too fast doesn't it? If you are like me, you spend your winter making a list of things to do in and around your home once the weather warms up.

Painting is one of those to-dos that come around every 5 to 8 years. It isn't an inexpensive ordeal, but the results can improve your home value, and the overall look of the neighborhood.

With that in mind, let me reiterate the process for painting your home here in The Villages at Highlands Ranch.

First of all, understand that the approval process is managed here within the Villages, not by the Highlands Ranch Architectural Committee. Please do not request approval from them, or you may end up painting your home twice.

1. Request the approved paint color pallette from Lynn Bryant at 1347 W. Braewood Ave. 303-521-9625.
2. Choose a color from the approved pallette, and please do not choose a color already present in your pod.
3. Choose your door color. There are suggestions in the pallete, but door colors are your choice, although they still need approval.
4. Choose from one of the 5 trim colors in the pallate packet.
5. Enter your choices on the form provided.
6. Return the entire packet to Lynn. The board will review and inform you of approval within a few days.

Please call if you have additional questions.
